Go get PC Benchmark and it will quickly scan your PC. Click it and your default browser will open after you enter a name and email address, several bits of information will be displayed: how many running processes are slowing down your PC, your computer’s speed score, how your PC compares to similar computers, and more. The large button that used to say Begin Test, now says Optimize Your PC. When the benchmark is over, the interface will display a piece of text, something like “Your PC is performing at 42% of its potential.” Click it and the application will benchmark your machine. PC Benchmark displays a large button on its interface: Begin Test. So to sum it up, it will take little time to get PC Benchmark up and running on your machine. It will take little time to download the installer and it will also take little time to go through the instructions presented by the setup wizard. The PC Benchmark installer is close to 2MB in size, which is not much, not much at all.
